FAA approves Toledo Aerial Media for sUAS Night Operations

FAA approves Toledo Aerial Media for sUAS Night Operations

We’re happy to announce the FAA has granted Toledo Aerial Media a Certificate of Waiver (CoW) for night time commercial drone operations. Under current drone regulations, commercial operations must be conducted within the timeframe between 30 minutes prior to sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset (read: daytime and during twilight). If a commercial operator wishes to operate outside of that window (read: at night), they must be granted a CoW by the FAA.

So what does this mean for you, our clients?

This Certificate of Waiver allows us to offer our full-range of aerial services around the clock, which opens the door for additional events, job sites and projects, weddings, and more! We take great pride in being certified FAA Remote Pilots and fully complying with all FAA regulations. In addition to carrying a $3 million aviation insurance policy protecting people and property during our operations, we also have a $1 million automobile insurance policy for vehicles we bring onto a property or job site.
