FAQs

How does a drone golf ball drop work?

First attendees purchase individually numbered golf balls, then we take flight with them on board the drone. Once in position over the target, all golf balls are released and the winner is determined by which one is in or closest.

Do you travel?

Yes! We’ve conducted drone ball drops across the United States and love to travel. We’d be happy to bring the TAM Drone Golf Ball Drop to your event!

How many balls can your drone lift?

We’re capable of lifting up to 500 foam practice golf balls. If we’re lifting something other than golf balls, it just depends upon size.

My golf outing/event is small, does that matter?

Nope. Our diverse client base has seen success with Drone Golf Ball Drops at outings and events both large and small!

Do the ball drops have to be at a golf course?

Certainly not. We have done Drone Golf Ball Drops at a variety of charity and sporting events hosted at locations other than a golf course.

Does this damage the golf course/target area?

No, not at all. We use foam practice golf balls, not real golf balls. This allows for a non-invasive experience at the drop site, meaning once we’ve cleaned up the golf balls, you’ll never know we were there.
